This mock movie trailer was created as a tribute to our teacher. Using scenes from his favorite films, the goal was to tell the story about our experience at a now defunct film & editing school in Los Angeles and how he saved us all with his kindness, humor and genius.

Motion graphics, titles. Sound design via Adobe Acrobat read out loud feature. That’s right. The voiceover is computer generated and audio effects were later added.

Expo promo cutdown 6 hours Edited sizzle reel/commercial to sell booths and sponsorships. Converted a long sales letter into a working script (storyline). Locate, organize, transcode, subclip existing footage by show year, company, testimonial, industry, etc. Cutdown longer assembly with voiceover. Wrote titles and lower thirds, created graphics, and timed music. Minor color corrx.

The Walking Dead 101 Promo

Edited on Avid MC 8. Music selection, sound design, graphics. Total allotted time to complete was 12 hours.

12 Classic Hong Kong Action Films

Promo edit featuring some of my favorite Hong Kong directors and actors such as Johnnie To, John Woo, Andy Lau, Simon Yam, Tony Leung and of course, Chow Yun Fat. Edited down trailers and intermingled them with favorite scenes and OST.

What Inspires You?

Using existing footage, wrote and produced this promo to reinforce brand message of what it truly means to be a bodybuilder.
